The Output

The Output from the reading application in Talisman Suit VI from the Tarot, Rune, IChing and Biorythms applications depends on the client selection to produce the Header for the emailing document. The files are saved in a RTF or DOC format suitable for further Editing if needed in word or any other wordprocessor. Each of the two Tarot and Rune reading output has a selection panel to switch of or on output formatting options like the header, the images and the content and the stats or meanings, you can select an output that just has the images labels and nothing but the clients header or you can switch it all on and output it in full, your program your style.

The Editor

The output of a reading from all of the readers brings up onto screen an in line rich text editor facility that allows you to replace the text that was input in the reader, and to replace the statistics or just to add a header or footer as suits your reading style.

The Header

This is made up with the information from the specific caller Tarot, Runes, IChing and Bios, the Client information is then input second to this, then the reading specific information and then lastly the time and date of the reading, great for tracking where when and for whom.

The Body

The body of the text of the document is again calling application specific and varies from app to app in various ways. The Tarot and the Runes both use a similar display facility, then start with the reading layouts Stats, these can be replaced in the reader or added to before being output, these form the over view of that specific reading if this option is selected in the specific reader. Then the card or stone information is laid out, The position number meaning is laid out first then the specific image upright to reversed, then this is followed by the card name, then the Upright or reversed meaning is displayed and if the stats output has been selected the stats appear followed by any card specific user notes. This is then repeated for all of the cards in the spread.

Saving the Output

The saving of the final information for output is simple choose to save from the top menu, you can select RTF or Word, this will save the specific file in the programs sub directory 'Clients' and will have a preceding number, followed by the type of reading Tarot, Runes etc, then the client name, time and date specific information in the name. It will be saved as an extension of '.rtf' or '.doc'. The lack of a spell checker means that it is probably better to use this just to check a specific reading for a client that has an inquiry.

Loading a Reading

You have the choice in the file menu to select to load a previous reading to view but without a spell checker it is better to load it into a separate document program with a spell checker . The files are stored in the installed applications directory in a folder named 'Clients', this is a cursory option at the moment and may be disabled in future depending on feedback. If you don't have a document program the Freeware version of Kingsoft Office has an excellent free word processor that views these output documents with no loss of formatting and it has a spell checker built in.

The Tarot

The Tarot reader has the options of including additional information from each reading, you can choose to select the notes and statistical output to include in the output document. The layout has the same composition as the Runes in that the header specific information is client orientated, then the layout specific statistics, if selected for output is displayed, then the card specific information starting with the database meanings (editable) delete or keep as you see fit, then the image upright or reversed followed by the position information for the layout, then the statistics (if selected for output) followed by your card specific notes (again if selected for output) then the process is repeated for the complete reading card after card. You can choose to keep what you like to edit any data or to replace it all with just your notes.

The Runes

The Runes output is designed with a similar output look and feel to the Tarot one. A program and client specific header followed by the reading statistics then. The single meaning of the stone, with the image next and then the position information and finally the stones statistics for the layout and then the readers notes.

The IChing

The IChing follows the same rules as the others but will not include any notes from the reader as this is a single drawing and all the information is already on the page for the write up. Header first then the calling editors name followed by the image, then the information at the base. You can choose to overwrite the information or to use it as a sub heading or foot note to the reading and place your write up at the top or bottom as you see fit or to enter it into the email and leave this part as an attachment as you see fit.

The Bios

The Biorhythm output is designed to show a months biorhythms from the start point selected in the reader, the output consists of the documentation header, calling application details first then the clients details followed by the cycles information for the physical, emotional and the intellectual. then the date the output was generated.
