The Images

The images that come with the Suite are still being completed and will be finished by Jan or February 2014. The current size of the images is kept to 120 x 240 for better presentation in the output documentation that the program creates for a client specific reading. The Original cards are 400 x 800 and throw the formatting out by two much and ended up creating too large a file for emailing through smaller email gateways. The larger the image you use in the readers will slow down the program significantly and will eat up memory and storage to boot. So when you scan in an image please use the sugested resolution for a smoother running program with faster results. The drag and drop facility in the Runes, the Tarot and the Iching stores a complete image and displays a small icon or thumbnail size display of it, seventy eight images in the Tarot, sixty four in the IChing and twenty five in the Runes. The Image manager stores all the cards and any directory displayed in the browser side (left) and shows the thumbnails of them. This uses up memory and resources. When the Image manager is closed just like all the readers in the Talisman suite the images are unloaded from memory and the rprogram resources are freed up to reflect the un loading process.

If the Program or the online program generate enough of an income the cards will be printed in there complete form and be offered for sale as a standalone deck.

This will create a matching set for the laptop roving reader that uses a laptop and dongle from the clients residence to email the notes of the reading to the client as a further facility to the reading. The right tools for the professional.

This is of course true for the reader that has scanned their own deck in and so has the same matching output to the reading deck that they use.

Talisman Images

The first two image sets below are the ones that come with the free program, the next images are for the version seven which is under development at the moment. The deck is incomplete as ther major arcana and the suit of staffs or wands are still to be finished. This will take funding at the moment as the need to find paid work is now paramount hence the completion of this site and the inclusion of the blog for future ease. You can step up and down the slide shows as you see fit. Browsers will load the complete image list for all the slides and so may be slow on older systems with less memory.

Manager

The image manager uses two displays to allow you to drag and drop new images onto the Talisman Suit images which are displayed on the right hand side of the display, you first select the Tarot, Runes or IChing to show the images as thumbnails in the right hand display area. Clicking on any of the thumbnails will display the card and its information on the far right display area. When you navigate to your new images using the left hand browser style inputter, your images are displayed as thumbnails in the left hand display area. When you click on an image thumbnail it is then displayed in the far right image verifier and its information is in the footer of this area.

When you are satisfied that you have your (tarot, Runes or IChing) images displayed then you just drag and drop them to the specific Talisman ones to replace them. Make a mistake and just select the correct one and drag it again and that is all that there is to it.

Talisman Suite VI

This is the first release of the compendium suite that consists of a Tarot program, a Rune program with the IChing and a Biorhythm program all integrated into one.

This program is freeware and you are welcome to set up a sign in to the site by using a valid email (username) and a password of your selection. Then when you login you can access the download page to receive the completed artwork. See the registration page for further details and to sign up.

If you are a Tarot or Rune reader you, will have to set the program up for your cards, meanings and images or just accept the program defaults, then you can input your client list and store their details using the client inputter. The Tarot, Rune and IChing programs produce automatic readings for practice and also allows the inputting of real readings from a deck of cards, bag of stones or from the IChing coins or hexagrams.

The program is developed for output to Windows 7 and a version for XP for older machines. The minimum screen resolution is 1024 x 768, the higher the resolution the better it looks on screen.
